Propaganda war

Many in the Francophone African exile community have been unusually supportive of Laurent Gbagbo, in spite of his sanguinary reputation and with few doubts about the fairness of the Ivorian poll. Some of the diaspora electronic media have been in uproar over France’s ‘neo-colonialist’ influence in Africa, labelling moves against Gbagbo as a ‘coup’ by France, the United States, United Nations and International Monetary Fund.
