Answers needed

When opposition leader Chokri Belaïd was shot dead by three masked men in a black car on 6 February, the secular opposition, the mainstream Islamist Hizb Ennahda and much of the global commentariat immediately pointed to Tunisia’s Salafist fringe. The growing ranks of jihadist Salafists have certainly been spoiling for a fight as they try to push Sharia (Islamic law) on the post-revolutionary state. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the murder, though, and they are not the only suspects.
