Gbagbo’s Ghana connection

Former President Laurent Gbagbo’s loyalists fled to Ghana in droves when he was finally deposed in April 2011. They did so hoping for political support from Jerry Rawlings, the former President, according to sources in Accra and in Abdijan. Rawlings has met several of the Gbagboists in Accra, including Charles Blé Goudé.
