After a three-year trial in which more than 2,000 victims were represented, three International Criminal Court (ICC) judges have found Jean Bosco Ntaganda, 45, also known as 'The Terminator', guilty of 18 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity, as well as murder, rape and conscripting child soldiers, in Ituri, Congo-Kinshasa between 2002 and 2003. He will be sentenced after further hearings.
