Cash in a cold climate

Industrialised countries aim to raise $100 billion a year in climate finance but developing countries feel left out

Morocco and South Africa are among the few African countries to take the lead on climate change policy. However, developing countries that live on the 'front line' of climate change, including many in Africa, don't see a lot for them in the deal made last December at the United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change in Paris last December, known as COP21. Three months after the meeting, African countries are sceptical about the money raised and future expectations.
